What King of Fruits many foreigners would ask, but in many parts of Asia, the durian reigns supreme as the King of Fruits! The durian is a very distinctive fruit with its thorn-covered husk and its pungent aroma. If one opens a durian, people within the radius of at least 200metres would be able to capture its aroma. Some might like it, others might baulk at it, but like the saying goes “smells like hell, taste like heaven”.
